We extended this Edwardian semi-detached house to the rear at ground and first floor levels and refurbished the internal spaces throughout. The rear garden is considerably lower than the original internal ground floor, so the new kitchen-family room was created at a half-level below. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open onto a newly created south-facing rear terrace. On the first floor the master bedroom was enhanced with a new glazed bay window, a dressing room and shower room.
