We worked with a residential builder and developer on this 4000 sq.ft. ‘Edwardian’ inspired 7 bedroom traditional family house for a private estate in West Wimbledon, SW London. The house is arranged over four floor levels, including a basement and occupied roof space. There is an exceptional duplex kitchen/living room which opens into the basement flooding the lower level games room spaces with light down the stair opening.
A four-storey void with two flights of stairs in the entrance hall brings light deep into the centre of the house illuminating each landing from the rooflight above. The stair to the top floor is located away from the main staircase to increase the openness and drama of this space.
