We completely turned around a dated 1930s house, unloved for decades, into a contemporary open plan family home with the living spaces opening onto the rear garden. Internally the house was comprehensively refurbished over four floors. The interiors were all beautifully styled by Nicola Hicks Designs. A new bay window created a generous master bedroom suite with views over the rear garden.
A two-storey side extension accommodates an intimate ‘secret’ study and a guest suite above. Also, on the first floor is a further guest room and a split-level bedroom for a young daughter. Conversion of the loft created a floor for a teenage son to dwell in.
